My research is focused on applying metabolic flux analysis (MFA) to microorganisms such as E.coli and Z.mobilis to elucidate the flux state under different conditions to aid in engineering efforts for biochemical production. I also focus on using MFA as a tool to collect fluxomic in conjunction with proteomic and metabolomic data sets (from our collaborators) to develop a more accurate and refined kinetic model for E.coli.
